Do you know what inspections should be done after the cable arrives?

1. Prepare the cable acceptance tools: steel tape measure and vernier caliper.

2. Cables need to be inspected randomly. After all, many people buy a lot of cable products at a time. The quality and performance of the same batch of cable products are similar. If they are to be checked and accepted one by one, a lot of time will be wasted. It is better to check and accept. The cable sampling ratio is based on the incoming batch, and the same specification model is not less than 3 coils for cable acceptance.

3. Cable acceptance process:

(1) The cable product must have the product quality inspection report issued by the national accreditation agency (the manufacturer’s official seal is required), the original product qualification certificate and other materials. If not, we can reject the cable product; accept the complete package of the cable and the product on the package The brand, specification and model should be consistent with the order requirements;

(2) The surface of the conductor should be shiny, free of wire breakage, loose strands, jumpers, crushing, and burrs; the surface of the insulation layer should be smooth and even in color; the surface of the outer sheath should be smooth and flat, with uniform color and no obvious Pimples, bulges, cracks, wrinkles, scratches, etc.; the surface of the armor layer should be smooth and round, and there should be no curling, burrs, leaks, etc.;

(3) The national standard stipulates that the length error should not exceed 0.5% of the total length. The length shortage is prohibited. When the shortage is found, the manufacturer is required to compensate 10 times the number of missing meters. If there is a code on the surface of the cable, check whether its product name, specification and model are consistent with the order requirements.

(4) Cable performance acceptance-the engineering department will send inspections in batches according to local government regulations to test the electrical performance of wires and cables.

4. It is worth noting that, in order to reduce the error caused by the acceptance of cable products due to unloading, it is necessary to confirm that the ground is flat and there are no large and sharp stones when unloading the cable. Try to use a forklift or tower crane when unloading.
